In Australia, a woman is killed every week from domestic violence¹

These images on your coffee cups tell the stories of women who have been victimised by domestic violence, and have found the strength and support to turn their lives around.

It is our hope that collaboration through coffee cups will improve awareness about domestic violence, which ultimately will help to exchange, shift and inform perspectives.

This project encourages the community to connect with the issue, and to connect with each other, one coffee at a time.

While we do recognise that domestic violence does not discriminate between the sexes, the project is targeted at gender based, domestic violence towards women.
